Personally I feel that there is dilemma among the student to choose the branch of science that they want to specialize on after their intermediate level in science. Bachelor degree in Biotechnology would be a wonderful choice for those students who have trigger to become a researcher, work in biological industries, or become an entrepreneur. The technical and theoretical skills developed as student can be applied globally and s/he will legible to work in any part of the world.
